Welcome to Our Ultimate Lap Dog Web site!

We knew we wanted a Cavalier, but we also realized that we could not afford the “Best of Breed”, and so we settled on what we consider to be a “bargain”. We fell in love with this breed soon after our first Cavalier purchase. We bought an AKC registered Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that was 6 months old. The breeder seemed nice, and we were able to meet the pup's Mom and Dad. We were unable to see the kennel conditions because of local weather conditions, as the breeder was located on a farm that was positioned on the top of a hill and it was in the middle of the Winter.  After we got our prize pup home, we found out that she could not go down stair steps, she did not want to go into the grass within our yard, and she preferred to go to the bathroom on a concrete pad. She was also extremely afraid of people. After studying our new pups behavior we realized that she suffered from what is referred to as “kennelosis”. Basically she was never socialized during her early development months.

What we discovered however, was that once she warmed up and became comfortable with us, she began showing the true loving nature of a Cavalier... These dogs just love to sit on your lap, and they'll be totally content just sitting there for hours and hours on end…

It was this gentle and loving personality that made us fall in love with this breed, and also is what inspired us to eventually breed them. Our intent is not to breed for profit, but rather for our wanting others to enjoy the comfort that we know these dogs will provide.

Pictured in our Gallery are Maya Gayle our 2yr old (Blenheim) and Pico Pooh-Streak our 7mo old (Ruby).  If they both continue to have good vet check-ups, we hope to have more in the future!

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is truly the Ultimate Lap Dog!
